Emmy-winning news anchors Laura Diaz, Pat Harvey and Paul Magers and Golden Mike-winning weathercaster Jackie Johnson have assumed new roles on CBS 2’s weeknight newscasts, while sports broadcasting legend Jim Hill has signed a multi-year contract extension to continue as the lead sports anchor for CBS 2 and KCAL 9, it was announced today by Steve Mauldin, President and General Manager, CBS 2 and KCAL 9.

CBS Names New Compliance Officer Chief

I am very happy to announce that Hazel-Ann Mayers has been promoted to the position of Chief Compliance Officer of CBS Corporation, effective December 17, 2009. Hazel will succeed Marty Messinger, who has held this position since the inception of our Company on December 31, 2005. Marty will continue in his role as Television Stations Group General Counsel and will continue to report to Jonathan Anschell.
